Capabilities & Facilities

Facilities: CTD is located in Lafayette, Colorado, along the beautiful Rocky Mountain front range and just minutes from downtown Boulder and Denver. CTD is a fast-growing, vibrant, high-technology company developing innovative materials and specialized composite components for aerospace, Government, and commercial applications. As of September 1st, 2002, CTD moved into a new 17,500 sq. ft. facility to accommodate our growing staff and our expanded laboratory needs. The new facility is custom designed for efficient material development, research, and testing of advanced materials and components.

CTD has a wide range of specialized equipment for the development, fabrication and testing of polymers, ceramic and ceramic matrix composite materials, and the analysis of advanced components incorporating these materials. Mechanical, electrical, thermal, and other physical testing can be performed at temperatures from 4 K to 500 K. Click here to view a list of facilities and equipment at CTD.
