Capabilities & Facilities

CTD’s 27,000-sq. ft. research and development, prototype fabrication, and testing facilities are located in Lafayette, Colorado, just minutes from downtown
Boulder and Denver. This unique combination of engineering, laboratories, manufacturing, and testing facilities was custom designed for efficient material development, testing of advanced materials and components, and the design, development, and manufacturing of prototypes as well as pilot scale fabrication of new products.
CTD has a wide range of specialized equipment for the development,
fabrication and testing of polymers, ceramic and ceramic matrix
composite materials, and the analysis of advanced components incorporating
these materials. Mechanical, electrical, thermal, and other physical
testing can be performed at temperatures from 4 K to 500 K. Click
