Naseem Munshi, Ph.D.

President and Founder

Dr. Munshi has successfully grown and operated CTD since its founding in 1988. She has had key involvement in the development of many of the novel materials and products that CTD provides. Dr. Munshi provides the vision and strategy that guides CTD towards a sustainable cycle of technology innovation, product innovation, and product commercialization. In 2007, Dr. Munshi was acknowledged for her success as an innovator and entrepreneur by being named Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Technology in the Rocky Mountain region.

Jim has diverse and proven global leadership experience in business & commercial management, manufacturing and supply chain logistics, as well as extensive knowledge in silane & silicone chemistry and processing.

As COO of NuSil Technology, Jim oversaw all manufacturing, R&D and supply chain operations of this global supplier of ultra-high-purity materials for medical and aerospace market applications. Prior to joining NuSil in 2013, Jim spent 25 years at Dow Corning in various executive roles, including Vice President of Specialty Chemicals Business, Vice President of Manufacturing and Business Management, Midland Site Manager and Executive Director of Global Logistics.

Jim spent several years in Asia, specifically Shanghai, where he oversaw the China division of Dow Corning’s specialty chemicals business. During his tenure in Asia, Jim led Dow Corning’s acquisition of Nippon Unicar, a strategic expansion for the company in specialty silicones and organo-functional silanes for the Asia/Pacific market.

Paul Fabian

Vice President of Operations, Commercial Segment Lead

Paul Fabian is in charge of all large scale manufacturing efforts with a focus on moving core technologies developed in research and development efforts at CTD to manufactured commercial products for use in industry. He also manages CTD’s Testing Services group. Mr. Fabian has over 25 years of experience in the composites industry, which includes virtually all methods of composite fabrication such as VARTM, filament winding, hand lay-up, pre-pregging, RFI, as well as in composite materials testing in extreme environments. He has extensive experience in composite electrical insulation, high temperature oil, gas, and geothermal applications, aerospace, composite tanks, cryogenics, and fusion & superconducting magnets.

Vice President of Finance

Lori joined CTD in 2005 and is currently the Vice President of Finance. She is responsible for all administrative aspects of CTD, including accounting, finance, contract management, and human resources. Her strong financial acumen and oversight enables CTD to remain competitive and profitable in both commercial and government markets.

Mark leads all business development activities for CTD. In this role, Mark is directly responsible for all sales and marketing activities for CTD, including strategic partnerships, market development, deal execution, and strategic projects that enhance the competitive posture of CTD. Prior to coming to CTD, Mark lead Strategy and Business Development activities in the Aerospace and Defense market for a major aerospace prime contractor.
